MISSION OF THE MONTH FOR APRIL
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me
something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in….” Matthew 25:35
The Mission of the Month for April 2018 is “The Gathering.” “The Gathering” is a time and place in the
Madison community, when people are invited to come and share a hot meal and fellowship with one
another. This ministry was started in October 2004, to reach out locally to those in need. Churches,
businesses and organizations in the area have taken turns, since then serving our community.
The members of the congregation of Trinity have volunteered for several years now to annually
serve a meal at ”The Gathering.” In May, we will again be serving the meal in the Fellowship Hall of the
United Methodist Church in Madison. If you and/or your family are interested in serving, please stop by
the office to sign up. Our meal will be catered by DSU Food Services this year, so the time commit-
ment is only 4pm to 7pm on Monday, May 14, 2018.
